Mr. Sandeep Koyate is a first-generation entrepreneur who wears many hats. From having a foray in the construction industry which involved initiating an ambitious 136-acre Sai Niwara township at Shirdi to empowering rural kids by bringing world-class education to their doorstep with the 25-acre Samata International School at Kokamthan, Shirdi, Mr. Sandeep has led and delivered many projects across sectors.
In 2012, he joined the Samata Nagari Sahakari Patsanstha as its Director, to empower rural MSME sector and improve the supply of finance for them. He led the development of product portfolio in addition to management of existing schemes. Mr. Sandeep built the gold loan portfolio of Samata to more than 200 crores within span of just 18 months.
At Sudhan, he is building an innovative product that aims to save thousands of small borrowers from overcharging of high interest rates by various moneylenders, NBFC and other financial institutions.
